Corey Olofson is a 4 th generation Montanan, with family ties to Great Falls, Polson, Flathead Lake’s Yellow Bay (where her grandfather owned a sheep ranch), and Bigfork, where she went to High School. Even though Corey received her BA in Chemistry from Oregon’s Willamette University with the intention of attending medical school, her love of Montana and interest in real estate investing brought her back to the Treasure State, where she started her career in real estate in 2004. She purchased her first property at the age of 21 and has been advising clients with honesty, extreme local knowledge, and passion ever since.
While Corey helps clients buy and sell all types of property, from large-scale ranches to single-family homes, her focus is on investment, rental, and commercial properties, as she herself owns multiple income properties across the Valley and elsewhere (Arizona & Kansas) and has extreme local knowledge and expertise in this space. Corey is extremely analytical and numbers-driven, and prides herself in understanding her clients’ needs from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective, establishing herself as a strong, trusted advisor from search to close. A fierce advocate of her clients’ best interests, she has unwavering integrity, and candor and always operates two steps ahead. Clients would say her ability to negotiate and determine creative solutions to execute even the trickiest deal leads to confidence, understanding, and insight throughout the entire buy/sell transaction. In short, she brings a level of knowledge far superior to others just brokering a deal.
When she’s not selling real estate or planning her next investment, you can find Corey enjoying everything the Flathead Valley has to offer, with her 4-year-old daughter, Teagan, husband, Russ, and their husky, Kita. They especially enjoy swimming on Swan Lake, teaching Teagan to ski, hiking, fishing, and exploring roads less traveled. A former competitive CrossFit athlete, Corey also is the founder of Big Mountain CrossFit, Whitefish’s only CrossFit gym, where she also loves getting in a workout.
Corey takes pride in her work ethic, integrity, and being readily available, whenever you need her. If you are looking to invest in the Flathead Valley or make a change with your real estate investments, you can count on Corey to understand your goals and help design a plan to achieve them.
